Miller knows the territory of East Central Illinois.  She actually sold both residential and commercial real estate before entering the appraisal profession.  Karen stays up on the market through private and public sources like the Champaign County Multiple Listing Service, the Champaign County Association of Realtors, the Champaign County Supervisor of Assessments and the Recorder of Deeds.  Karen K. Miller does appraisals all over the area and includes cities like Champaign, Urbana, Mahomet, Monticello, Tolono, St. Joseph, Sidney and Savoy in her work.

Karen works for mortgage lenders, relocation companies, attorneys, Realtors and individuals who need appraisals for loans, selling, buying, estates and relocation.  Karen specializes in appraisals of development land and commercial land.  Along with her comprehensive knowledge of the single family residential market, Karen also has extensive experience in appraising apartment buildings.  She is a General Associate Member Appraisal Institute, a Senior Member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, and a member of the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals.

Karen is a Certified Instructor for Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.  This Certification is issued only by the Appraisal Foundation which governs the standards for all licensed and certified appraisers.
